TOPIC: Marine Conservation Zones Discussion

Marine Conservation Zones Discussion 8 years 3 months ago #1

This thread may be used for posting questions about the current exercise where marine conservation zones are being proposed for our local area by a government appointed group galled Balanced Seas.
Please first read our page "Balanced Seas" from the main menu.
Please note that these are only proposals at present & they have to first go to other government bodies and then to public consultation before any can be officially established.
I will try to answer any serious questions based on my involvement which has been limited to providing local knowledge to the Balanced Seas team.
Any posts that are just critical of the process will not be answered & will probably be deleted. The public consultation will be the appropriate vehicle for criticism.
