Q: How do I register on the website?
Go to the Members Login box (left hand side of the page) and click Register.
Copy the Security Code embedded in the image into the box provided.
Enter your full name in the box provided – this is a requirement and is not optional.
Select a Username & enter it in the Username box.
People don’t normally use their actual names in forums. Examples used on our site include “Slyfox”, “Smoothound” so you see the sort of thing.
You will not be able to use the same user name as someone else already registered.
Enter a valid email address in the e-mail address in the box. This information is only visible to site administrators and no one else.
Select a Password and enter it in the password box and the Verify Password box. No need for anything fancy as there are no serious security issues but don’t choose obvious ones like your boat name. This information is not visible to anyone.
Fill in your phone number in the box provided (including area code), this is optional. This information is only visible to site administrators and no one else.
Fill in your mobile phone number in the box provided, this is optional. This information is only visible to site administrators and no one else.
Fill in the location (the general area where you live e.g. Isle of Wight), this is optional.
Check the Club Member box if you are a paid up member of Bembridge Angling Club, this is optional.
Check the Boat Owner box if you are a boat owner or co-owner of a boat, this is optional.
Enter the Name of the Boat if you have checked the Boat Owner box, this is optional.
Business Representative Check this box if you are representing a business on the site.
Name of Business is the name of the business you are representing.
Read the term and conditions by clicking “Terms and Conditions” and if you agree to these terms and conditions, check the Accept box. If you do not accept the terms and conditions click on a page in the main menu on the left side of the page to return to the site.
To continue the registration process click the “Send Registration” box.
You will receive an email; you must click on the link to activate your account (any accounts that have not been activated after 30 days will be deleted).
You will receive a second email confirming that your account has been approved by one of our moderators or administrators and that your account is now active.
Keep a note of both your Username and Password in case you forget it.
You are only permitted one username.
You can edit your details at anytime by logging into the site and going to “My Profile”
Q: How do I login to the site?

Q: How do I upload my pictures to the Gallery?
First you must login to the site then click on the “Gallery” page in the Main Menu and then click on the Category you intend to upload your image to.
Scroll down to the until you reach the "Upload" section.
To upload a new image click the “Choose File” button and navigate to the file you wish to upload and click "Open".
“Image Title” This is where you insert the image title (name) which can be whatever you wish.
“Description” Here you can add a description about your image.
To Upload your picture simply click the "Start Upload" button.
(Please note that it may take some time to upload your image depending on the image size and your connection speed)
Q: How do I edit one of my images in the Gallery?
You cannot edit your picture once it has been uploaded, but if you need anything changing please contact the website administrator via the committee contact us page.
